Navistar employees march on City Hall for council support of the "Manufacturing Matters Campaign", June 28, 2010. CAW Local 127 President Aaron Neaves is calling on all levels of government for support in resolving the dispute at the year long idled Navistar Truck Plant.

CAW President Ken Lewenza leads Navistar Unit Rally for Jobs
CAW National President Ken Lewenza joins Navistar Unit Bargaining Committiee and Membership in a collective voice for resolve of the long idled Navistar International Truck Plant.  Thanks to all the supporting Locals and members who turned out for this rally. Photos here.

2010 Labour Community Spirit Awards
CAW Local 127 was presented with this years 2010 Labour Community Bill Zilio Spirit Award during an awards presentation at Aristo's May 21, 2010. Awards where also presented to CAW Local 127 Doug Wright under the Current catigory and to Chatham-Kent Labour Council member in the Builder catigory Stan Giera.  The United Way of Chatham-Kent Campaign Labour Appreciation Awards where also presented. 

CAW Local 127 President Seeks Council Seat 
CAW Local 127 President Aaron Neaves will seek a North Kent council seat in the upcoming municipal election October 25, 2010.  It will be his second time running in Ward 4.  Aaron's priorites include service and accessiblity to his constituents, rural identity and economic development.
